The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek (15 Days) is a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and natural beauty. Starting from Kathmandu, the trek takes you through the lush Langtang Valley, terraced hills, and dense forests. Trekking continues to high alpine terrain, reaching the sacred Gosaikunda Lake, which holds religious significance for Hindus and Buddhists.
The route also includes the stunning Kyanjin Ri viewpoint, traditional villages, and monasteries, offering cultural immersion alongside breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. The trek concludes with a drive back to Kathmandu, leaving you with memories of this serene and less-crowded trekking region.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take time to relax and explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for an introduction to the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley with your guide: Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhu (Monkey Temple), and Patan Durbar Square. Gain insight into Nepalese culture, religion, and history. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
Start your journey to the Langtang region with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, passing through terraced hills, rivers, and picturesque villages. Overnight in Syabrubesi.
Day 4: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m)
Begin trekking along the Langtang Valley, walking through lush forests and small settlements before reaching Lama Hotel, a popular base for trekkers. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Day 5: Lama Hotel to Mundu
Continue ascending through traditional villages and alpine landscapes, reaching Mundu, a quaint settlement offering views of surrounding peaks. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight in Mundu.
Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)
Trek through rhododendron forests and alpine meadows to Kyanjin Gompa, a village renowned for its monastery, cheese production, and stunning mountain views. Trekking Time: 4–5 hours Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 7: Kyanjin Ri (4,775m)
Hike to Kyanjin Ri for panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Langshisha Ri, and surrounding Himalayan peaks. Return to Kyanjin Gompa for the night. Trekking Time: 3–4 hours Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 8: Lama Hotel (2,470m)
Descend through the valley, passing scenic forests and villages to return to Lama Hotel. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Day 9: Lama Hotel trek to Thulo Syabru Bensi (2230m)
Trek through terraced farmland and local villages, experiencing the lifestyle of mountain communities, arriving at Thulo Syabru Bensi. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight in Thulo Syabru Bensi.
Day 10: Thulo Syabru Bensi to Sing Gompa (3330m)
Ascend into higher altitudes, entering alpine terrain and passing remote villages before reaching Sing Gompa, a traditional settlement with beautiful mountain views. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight in Sing Gompa.
Day 11: Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda Lake (4600m)
Reach the sacred Gosaikunda Lake, a major pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Enjoy the serene alpine surroundings and breathtaking views. Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Overnight near Gosaikunda Lake.
Day 12: Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m)
Descend back to Sing Gompa, retracing your steps through alpine meadows and forests. Trekking Time: 4–5 hours Overnight in Sing Gompa.
Day 13: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (six hours.)
Continue trekking through forests, rivers, and terraced hills to Dhunche, a peaceful town offering views of the surrounding Langtang peaks. Trekking Time: Approx. 6 hours Overnight in Dhunche.
Day 14: Dhunche drive back to Kathmandu transfer Hotel
Drive back to Kathmandu. Rest, relax, and enjoy a farewell dinner in the city, celebrating the completion of your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Final Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with memories of the stunning Langtang region and sacred Gosaikunda Lake.

Reserve Now Pay Later Ticketing
